Your days will be filled with yoga, meditation, Satsang (sacred gathering), outdoor walks, ocean kayaking, fire ceremonies, and delectable nourishment crafted by Chef Amy Chamberlain. Reconnect with yourself and nature in this blissful retreat!

Monday, September 29

  • 11:00 am – 1:00 pm: Arrival, Settle-in and Brunch
  • 2:00 – 5:00 pm: Satsang and Yoga
  • 6:00 pm: Dinner
  • 7:30 pm: Fire Ceremony

Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, September 29, October 1, 2:

  • 8:00 am: Walking Meditation
  • 9:00 – 11 am: Yoga
  • 11:30 am: Brunch
  • 2:00 – 5:00 pm: Satsang, yoga; excursions: ie. Halibut State Park; ocean kayaking
  • 6:00 pm: Dinner
  • 7:30 pm: Fire (Yoga Nidra, Drumming, Satsang, Thursday night: Closing Ceremony)

Friday: October 4:

  • 7:30 – 9:30 am: Meditation and Yoga
  • 10 am: Breakfast
  • 11 am.: Departure

Cuisine:

Chef Amy Chamberlain, a graduate of New England Culinary Institute and a Manchester local, has been cooking since her teenage years, most notably at The Perfect Wife Restaurant and Tavern from 1996 to 2018 and at her airstream from 2018 to 2023. Making delicious food for folks makes Amy’s heart sing. You can look forward to delicious and nutritious meals at this Oceanfront Retreat. Some examples are: Harvest Vegetable Breakfast Bowl with Farm Fresh Eggs and Tomato Chimichurri; Blueberry Overnight Sourdough French Toast with Lemon Skyr; Eggs baked with Polenta, Spinach, Fresh Corn and Feta; Line Caught Cod with White Beans, Tarragon, Orange and Broccolini; Local Cherrystone Clams with Linguini; and The Howling Wolf Special: Brown Rice and Lentil Pilaf with Fresh Veggies, Roasted Yams and Tomato-Coconut Curry Sauce. In addition to brunch and dinner, a continental breakfast of fruit, toast, yogurt, and hot beverages will be available for early morning before yoga.

Includes accommodations, daily meals and the Retreat program. There are a variety of bedrooms and 3 shared bathrooms. Prices range based on the bedroom:

  • King Bedroom with en Suite Bath (bath to be shared with adjacent Queen Loft): $1595 ppso
  • Queen Loft with shared bath: $1345 ppso
  • Bedroom with Full Size Bed and shared bath: $1445 ppso
  • Twin Bedroom with two Twin Beds and shared bath: $1245 ppdo
  • Lower Level Queen Bed – Dorm Style Room shared with Jo and Amy – with shared bath: $945 pptripleocc.

Heart of the Village Yoga llc reserves the right to cancel any trip prior to departure for any reason, including insufficient number of participants. If the retreat is canceled, participants will receive a full refund*. If you must cancel your trip, we will refund* your deposit, upon receipt of written notice, less the following fees:

  • * 90 or more days before September 29, 100% of the retreat price less the $500 non-refundable deposit.
  • * 60 to 89 days before September 29, 50% of the retreat price less the $500 non-refundable deposit.
  • * Less than 60 days before departure 100% of the retreat price **NO REFUND**

“The Goddess Retreat in Rockport MA was perfect for me because it allowed me to attend a retreat in a nearby location and take time off from my busy life. The women on the retreat were aligned in many ways that included: the love of the beach, the love of yoga at all levels and the desire to be in a small community group sharing and learning from each other. The oceanfront setting for this retreat is absolutely stunning. All night the waves lulled us to sleep and every morning the spectacular sunrise greeted our day. It was a perfect balance of yoga, delicious healthy food, long beach walks and many adventures off site. My favorite day was when we went ocean kayaking after a morning yoga session on the beach and then came home to an amazing fish dinner followed by a fun and light drumming circle.
